We the undersigned express our support for Buta Biberaj in her campaign to be our 32nd District State Senator.
Buta has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to justice, equity, and community engagement, and we believe that her vision, integrity, and tenacity make her an ideal candidate to champion our district in the state senate.
As an accomplished lawyer and Loudoun County’s first elected female Commonwealth's Attorney, Buta has shown her dedication to fairness, reform, and protecting the rights of every Loudoun resident. Buta has taken concrete steps to address both the root causes of crime and to implement evidence-based practices that reduce recidivism, promoting public safety in a way that is fair, tough, smart, and humane.
Her policies led to a 32% reduction in violent crime while also lowering the incarceration rate in the Loudoun jail by 43%. She promised to never prosecute a woman or her doctor for exercising their rights to access and provide reproductive health care. She prosecuted and obtained convictions for serious gun offenses and placed Narcan in our public schools to fight the fentanyl epidemic.
Buta’s dedication to community service extends beyond her official duties. She has worked tirelessly to improve our schools, protect and expand voting rights, and to promote economic opportunities for all residents. Her personal story as an immigrant, and her commitment to making Virginia a place of opportunity and fairness for everyone, resonates with so many of us. Buta embodies the kind of representation we need—a leader who understands the struggles and aspirations of our diverse communities.
We are confident that, as our state senator, Buta will fight for policies that support working families, champion economic fairness, protect our environment, and ensure quality education for all children. She is committed to making our government more transparent, accessible, and accountable to the people it serves.
Electing Buta Biberaj will bring a much-needed voice to the Virginia State Senate. We urge our fellow residents to stand with us in support of Buta Biberaj, a candidate who will advocate with passion and principle for all of District 32. Election Day will be Saturday, November 16th. Check our website for polling locations close to the date of the election.
